Wireless Network Antennas

How can i connect to a wireless access point anywhere i go or to my college from my Mac labtop?

i have a mac book. i have wireless internet at home only. i would love to know how to connect to wireless to an access point anywhere i go. specially at my college. Please Help Me, Im Still new at how to handle a mac labtop leopard. Thank you for your help!

1. If its at school then ask someone if the school is using a wep key to keep anyone out not authorized to use the wireless connection. If not then you should be able to connect to it without any problem. For the love to connect anywhere you will need a AT&T or Sprint card which is sim carded like a cell phone and it connects to your desktop or laptop and you can surf anywhere a cell phone will work. They ususally run about $50 for the card and $35-$100 per month depending on how much you want to use it. THanks
