Where do I choose the network my wireless antenna connects to?
I got a new external wireless card for my computer, it is by hawkings technology and I do not know how to choose the network I connect to because it is connecting me to others wireless networks rather then my own...when I click view wireless networks, windows states that it cannot find wireless networks because I have another program enabled to manage them Any help would be great

- What has happened is that you have used the Hawkings install CD to install not only the drivers - but letting Hawkings software manage the connection - this will cause nothing but a headache. It's a Microsoft thing!:) Solution - if you can't see and connect to your network by right clicking on your Hawkings icon in the task bar (try this first) - reinstall the drivers for your card. Uninstall everything Hawkings in Add/Remove programs Take your card out. If need be - right click on our card in Device Manager and uninstall. Put in the CD - browse to install the drivers ONLY. After installation of drivers - Shut down your machine. Install the new NIC Crank it back up and let Windows find the drivers. You should be back in business.
